Liam Lawson replaces Daniel Ricciardo at RB for the remainder of the 2024 season

After discussions at Red Bull’s highest management level, the energy drink manufacturer decided to let Ricciardo go and deploy Lawson for the final six races of the season.

This allows them to compare him with his teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who is having his best season in Formula 1 and already has a contract for next season.

“He has brought a lot of experience and talent to the team with a fantastic attitude, which has helped everyone to develop and foster a close team spirit.
