New York Giants updated their depth chart

The New York Giants roster has undergone a number of changes since the start of the season. Let’s take a look at the current depth chart and practice squad.

Giants’ 2024 Depth Chart – Offense

Position Player Player Player Player
Position Player Player Player Player
WR Darius Slayton Jalin Hyatt Ihmir Smith-Marsette
WR Wan’Dale Robinson
WR Malik Nabers Bryce Ford Wheaton
RT Jermaine Eluemunor Evan Neal
RG Greg VanRoten Aaron Stinnie
c Johannes Michael Schmitz Greg VanRoten
LG Jon Runyan Jr. Jake Kubas
LT Andrew Thomas Joshua Ezeudu
RB Devin Singletair Erik Gray Tyrone Tracy
AT Daniel Bellinger Theo Johnson Chris Manhertz
QB Daniel Jones Drew Slot Tommy DeVito

Not much change on the offensive side. The Giants still list Daniel Bellinger as TE1, though it’s clear rookie Theo Johnson has taken that job. The Giants still list Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt as co-starters. I split them for a dose of reality.

NICKEL Dru Phillips Isaiah Simmons
CB Deonte Banks Tre Hawkins III
CB Cor’Dale Flott Nick McCloud Dear Jackson
S Jason Pinnock Anthony Johnson Jr.
S Dane Belton Tyler Nubin

The linebacker depth is really the only defensive change.

Injuries have forced significant changes on special teams. Greg Joseph has replaced the injured Graham Gano as placekicker. After Sunday’s poor attempt on a 48-yard field goal, you wonder if the Giants will regret that choice. Ihmir Smith-Marsette (two returns for 19 yards) looked fine Sunday replacing Gunner Olszewski as punt returner. Could Smith-Marsette be an option if the Giants move Eric Gray off the kickoff?
