However, the singer has now debunked the rumors in a new statement, claiming that she did not delete her account because of the disgraced rapper and was not in a relationship with him.

The “Try” singer is making it clear she has nothing to do with Diddy amid the rapper’s ongoing legal troubles after he was arrested in New York following a grand jury indictment.

Pink and several other stars recently came under scrutiny for their alleged ties to Diddy. The singer in particular was criticized for allegedly deleting all of her tweets on X in the wake of Diddy’s arrest and sex crime allegations.

However, Pink has now clarified that her X account has been deleted since February, while insisting she has no relationship with Diddy whatsoever.

She said: “I don’t know why I made headlines this week but I deleted my Twitter account on February 6!!!”

Pink added: “There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and although I have met people in passing, I am not associated with any of the people mentioned.”

She also shared a photo of a tweet she made in February announcing her intention to delete her X account.

On Sunday, Usher’s X account was shockingly wiped out, quickly raising eyebrows among social media users.

While the incident wouldn’t have aroused much curiosity on a normal day, the fact that it happened after Diddy’s highly publicized arrest changed everything.

Usher and Diddy have had a close collaborative relationship since the ’90s, with the latter reportedly producing the R&B singer’s first album. Now that Diddy is facing sex crime charges and other sordid revelations are coming to light, fans are beginning to speculate that the sudden deletion of Usher’s X account may be related to the rapper’s ongoing legal troubles.

However, the ‘Ruin’ crooner has come out to quash these rumors with a reason that seems to explain why the incident should not be seen as a deliberate act to cover up something disturbing.

“Account was hacked and y’all ran away with it,” he wrote on his page before promoting his next show at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, recently announced that the rapper will defend himself in his criminal case.

The high-profile case, which has received widespread attention, marks a pivotal point for Diddy as he faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

According to the rapper’s attorney, Diddy has a heartfelt story of struggle to share when he takes the witness stand to defend himself.

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in New York following his arrest on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Despite efforts by his legal team, the rapper has been denied bail twice and will remain in custody until his trial, for which no date has yet been set.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams of the Southern District of New York has indicated that additional charges may be filed against the rapper.

“I can’t take anything off the table. Everything is possible,” Williams said per CNN. He also said that the Diddy investigation is “very active and ongoing” and that “the developments are certainly foreseeable.”

If Diddy is convicted of racketeering, he could face life in prison. Additionally, the sex trafficking charge carries a statutory minimum sentence of 15 years.
