September 28 is National Sons Day, a chance for parents to celebrate their boys. But if you think we’ve already done that, you’re right! National Son’s Day takes place twice a year, the first time in March.

The Best Things to Do with Sons in California

One of the best things about living in California is the countless things you can do no matter where you live. With a little help from Visit California and the Point Boys Here are some suggestions for things to do with your son National Son’s Day.

  • Go for a nature walk. Wherever you live in California, you’re not far from a walk in the great outdoors. Forests, beaches, desert settings or just a stroll to enjoy sights like the Golden Gate Bridge: your options are endless in the Golden State.
  • Visit a zoo, aquarium or museum. Whether it’s San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles or even Fresno, all major metropolitan areas of California have a worthwhile zoo or aquarium to visit. Our favorite if you’re near the Bay Area: The Explartourim in San Francisco, a wonderful hands-on science and engineering museum.
  • Go to an amusement park. Once again, California is full of amusement parks of all kinds – from water parks to parks full of roller coasters.
