The No. The second-ranked Georgia Bulldogs visit SEC opponents No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. 4, on Saturday for one of the most anticipated NCAAF games of the weekend. Both teams are currently undefeated this season and the specter of former Alabama head coach Nick Saban looms over the game, with his successor, Kalen DeBoer, leading the Crimson Tide, and his protégé and former Alabama assistant coach, Kirby Smart, who now serves as the Bulldogs’ head coach. This weekend’s game marks the first meeting between the two teams since DeBoer started. Saban, who left his job as head coach at Alabama to become host of ESPN’s College GameDaywill also be on campus filming that week’s episode. ESPN’s college football pregame show will be taped on the University of Alabama campus beginning at 8 a.m. with Saban and his co-hosts Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso previewing the week’s big games.

The Bulldogs will play the Crimson Tide on Saturday, September 28, with the game airing on ABC and ESPN+. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM ET. Here’s how to watch Georgia vs. Alabama can view.

NCAA football games are broadcast on a wide range of channels, from mainstream cable networks, including the entire ESPN suite (that’s also ESPN2 and ESPNU), Fox and FS1, ABC, NBC and CBS, to CBSSN, Big Ten Network, SEC Network , ACC Network and more.

Dazed? You’re not alone. Here’s a look at the platforms we recommend watching ahead of the 2024 NCAA football season so that game time is as easy as turning on the TV….

(DirectTV)

The DirecTV Stream’s Choice tier (currently $105.98/month with fees) gives you access to all the usual football suspects: NFL Network, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox. Plus, with the Choice tier you get CBSSN, FS1, ACC Network, Big Ten Network, SEC Network, and plenty of local RSNs. The best part is that you can currently try all of this for free. So if you’re interested in trying out a live TV streaming service for football season but aren’t ready to commit yet, we recommend starting with DirecTV Stream.

You also get unlimited Cloud DVR storage included in whichever DirecTV package you choose.

Positives

  • Free trial of the full package available
  • Many local RSNs included
  • Unlimited cloud DVR
Disadvantages

  • Costs
  • ABC and ESPN are currently not included

(Fubo)

Fubo TV gives you access to ESPN, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC and over 100 live channels. Starting at $80 per month, the live TV streaming service is definitely pricey (though certainly not the most expensive option on this list), but offers almost every channel you need to watch both the NCAA football season and the 2024 NFL season. Fubo subscribers also get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage. The platform also offers a free trial period.

Positives

  • Free trial of the full package available
  • 1000 hours of cloud DVR storage
