ABC is experiencing audio problems ahead of Georgia vs Alabama

ABC is experiencing audio problems ahead of Georgia vs Alabama

Vaseline 6 days ago

The game of the week, if not the year, is about to take place in Tuscaloosa. Alabama And Georgia will battle it out at Bryant-Denny Stadium, the first-ever meeting between Kalen DeBoer And Kirby Smart. ESPN has been in town all weekend and the game will be televised on ABC.

Unfortunately there have been some audio technical problems in the stand. Luckily, Herbstreit only spent the pregame show talking about the stakes. And then suddenly the people at home can no longer hear the ESPN analyst.

“Both teams are so proud,” Herbstreit began. “And they want to be the big dog. They want to be the bar in college football. It’s a great discussion –“

From there, Herbstreit’s audio will be cut off. Fowler starts talking soon after, but nothing comes from him either. The ESPN broadcast then shows a graphic discussing Georgia’s win streak, but nothing is heard behind it. Finally, Fowler returns after about 20 seconds of silence.

Apparently everyone in the college football world is in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Even former President Donald Trump will be at the game, making an appearance at Bryant-Denny Stadium. It is not a big surprise that there are some problems due to the large number of people in the city.

For the rest of us watching at home, hopefully the audio issues don’t come across in the game broadcast and we get to hear Fowler and Herbstreit’s great commentary.

Mykell Williams will play against Alabama

Star Georgia edge rusher Mykel Williams looks to play Saturday night against Alabama, returning from an ankle injury. Williams was listed as a “game-time decision” on the final injury report.

During pre-match warmups, Williams appeared to participate in all drills with his teammates. And while he is apparently available, Williams is not expected to play a full-time role in his return for the Bulldogs, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Williams was out early in the season with a sprained ankle. It was reported from him on Saturday morning the status would be determined shortly before kick-off.
