It has been announced that Ubisoft’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors will launch an investigation into the company.

The news came via a financial statement and update from the company, which included the delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the announcement that Star Wars Outlaws was underperforming. The statement read:

“In light of recent challenges, we recognize the need for greater efficiency and want to make players happy. As a result, in addition to the first key short-term actions taken, the Executive Committee, under the supervision of the Board of Directors, is launching a review aimed at further improving our execution, especially in this player-centric approach, and accelerating our strategic path towards a better performing model for the benefit of our stakeholders and shareholders.
