Dillon Gabriel, No. 8 Oregon Football takes care of business against outmatched UCLA

PASADENA, Calif. – Oregon’s offense took place in LA. The defense showed up too. UCLA, though geography-based in the city, though 45 miles away from the historic site it calls home, was an unfortunate extra in a game that will mark a historic moment as the inaugural Big Ten game for the Ducks.

It was exactly the show expected from a top-10 team against an overmatched foe, at least in the first half. Dillon Gabriel was again accurate and efficient, though he gave Tinseltown a dose of drama with his first interception of the season, which was returned by former Ducks safety Bryan Addison for a touchdown before halftime.
