Nat outfield forces retirement for the second day in a row

The cricket action in Kanpur continued to be postponed as the third day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh was abandoned without a ball being bowled. It is the second day in a row that no action was possible, after day two suffered a similar fate due to rain and moisture on the outfield. Although heavy rain was a big factor on the second day, ironically not a drop of rain fell on day three, with conditions also being brighter in the sense that the sun was shining at several points.
