Nat outfield forces retirement for the second day in a row

Vaseline 6 days ago

The cricket action in Kanpur continued to be postponed as the third day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh was abandoned without a ball being bowled. It is the second day in a row that no action was possible, after day two suffered a similar fate due to rain and moisture on the outfield. Although heavy rain was a big factor on the second day, ironically not a drop of rain fell on day three, with conditions also being brighter in the sense that the sun was shining at several points. However, the outfield had plenty of damp spots that refused to yield and after multiple inspections the game was called off at 2pm local time.
