WVU ready for tough Big 12 challenge on New Year’s Eve

The Big 12 Conference will release the full conference slate for the 2024-2025 men’s basketball season on Thursday, but a few early games have been leaked by basketball insider Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

According to Rothstein, the West Virginia Mountaineers will play the Kansas Jayhawks on December 31 at the toughest venue, Allen Fieldhouse. Welcome to the Big Twelve, Darian DeVries. It’s not confirmed that this is the Big 12 opener, but it’s very likely that it will be.
