Houston will be without three starters in their Week 4 matchup with Jacksonville on Sunday.

Safety and captain Jimmie Ward, wide receiver Tank Dell and running back Joe Mixon will miss Sunday’s home game against the Jaguars.

Dell, Ward and running back Dameon Pierce were ruled out Friday due to injury. Yesterday, the Texans signed running back JJ Taylor from the practice squad.

That’s why Cam Akers, Dare Ogunbowale, Taylor and British Brooks will be the running backs on Sunday.

Additionally, with Dell gone, wide receiver John Metchie III will be active for the first time this season.
