It was a scary moment in the Jets vs. Broncos game Sunday when Denver running back Tyler Badie went down with an injury and ultimately had to be carted off the field.

Here’s the latest update on Badie:

Tyler Badie injury update

Tyler Badie went down with 2:07 left in the first quarter of a scoreless game.

Badie caught a pass on third-and-13, was tackled by Jets’ Quincy Williams and immediately fell to the ground. He lay on his back on the sideline for several minutes until they used a blue backboard to lift him up and finally drag him away.

Badie suffered a back injury and has been ruled out, the CBS broadcast said.

Who is Tyler Badie’s backup on the Broncos depth chart?

Although not a starter, Badie should see more snaps after setting career highs in attempts and yards last week. The running backs ahead of him on the depth chart are Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin

Tyler Badie stats

Badie, a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, was coming off the best game of his young career in which he had nine carries for 70 yards.

It is only Badie’s third career game in the NFL.
