Major League Baseball legend Pete Rose has died at the age of 83, the medical examiner in Clark County, Nevada confirmed to ABC News on Monday.

While there aren’t many details yet about how he died, Rose was found by a family member, police told ABC News.

The medical examiner told ABC News that Rose was not under the care of a doctor when he died, and that the accident scene is under investigation.

The coroner will conduct an investigation to determine the cause and manner of death.
