‘American Pickers’ star Frank Fritz has passed away

(KWQC) – Frank Fritz, known as part of the original “American Pickers” duo, has died.

In an Instagram post, co-star Mike Wolfe shared the following:

‘Frank died last night. I have known Frank for more than half my life and what you have seen on TV has always been the same as I have seen: a dreamer who was as sensitive as he was funny. Off camera, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.”

“American Pickers” debuted on the History Channel in 2010, when pickers Fritz and Wolfe visited old barns in search of collectibles or interesting knick-knacks.

The American Pickers own three stores to showcase their picks, with the hub in LeClaire, Iowa.
